“It was amazing, fun and well worth it.”

How I did it: Ok so I have been over weight since I had my second child. I’m sure a lot of you are familiar with the after birth weight gain. I started trying everything under the sun. Acai berry, Alli, Aiken’s and dozens more. Also the old fashion way with changing my diet and exercising everyday. I would lose about 10lbs and then it would all just stop. I would still exercise and nothing happened. My doctor ever prescribed me some weight loss pill and it didn’t help me either. I just ended up mensurable and in tears everyday. Then I found CORE4 which attacks your midsection where I wanted to lose the most at. They have this product called Cheat wear you sprinkle it on your food. It’s completely taste less and it cuts %25 of the calories. Also they have the Accelerate which helps boost your energy threw out the day. So I started out on the cheat and not changing much of my diet and lost 13lbs in my first 3 weeks of using the product. Now Almost 3 months later I’m down 30lbs and counting. I’m getting married next year and I plan to look fabulous. I’ll keep you posted on my results weekly.

Lessons & tips: Keep fighting for your health. Every method or product isn’t for everybody. The most important thing I learned is to eat healthier even if the weight isn’t dropping off like you want. I use to have high blood pressure, but changing some of the old foods and laying off the salty stuff lowered my pressure. And that’s without losing one fat pound.

Resources: You can check out CORE4 at “CORE4 WORKS” if you have more questions on just want to talk I’m here.

It took me 3 months.

It made me Extremely Happy

Bernard Madoff will plead guilty to 11 charges in his financial fraud case and faces 150 years behind bars if convicted, his attorney said Tuesday

Wow 150 years for pleading guilty to 11 charges of financial fraud is all that came to mind when I first heard it on the news. I can’t say that I feel sorry for him but I can say that he should spend some time in jail. Is it enough I’m not sure yet because I’m still concerned with all the thousands of people that are still out of their life savings. It’s amazing to me that a persons can be that greedy that he will steel for a living and get away with it for as long as he did. So I’m wondering if we wasn’t in a economic depression would we ever know of his deception?

Madoff appeared in court on Tuesday to try and clear his lawyer of any conflicts of interest. Not really sure if that was a good idea for him. Being that his attorney was presenting him the entire time he was commenting fraud may not be to smart. But what do I know he is just a common thief in my eyes. For more information and to read this article click the link below.

On January 3rd I wrote a post about losing weight. It has been a couple of weeks since that post and I wanted to give an update. I have been working really hard at eating healthy and exercising. That’s has been something that I haven’t done in over about 2 years. I say two years because I was pregnant with my youngest son for 9 months and I used that as an excuse to eat what ever I wanted. Since then I’ve only talked about getting fit but didn’t do so. I had the blessing of being home with my baby boy since his birth so of course that was more opportunity for me to eat instead of keeping busy when he was asleep. I developed high blood pressure because of the weight and my eating habits, which kinda depressed me quit often on top of always being sick.

So what was my turning point?

My 4 year old son wanted to go outside to test out his new batman scooter he got for Christmas and although my head was hurting from my blood pressure always being so high I went out any with him. He wanted me to walk along side him as he road around and then he wanted to play a little softball. I wasn’t able to keep up with him at all and was quickly out of breathe. His words were “Mom why are you so slow all the time, are you old?” At that moment I felt like I had let him down but at the same time that was my breaking point to get healthy an stay fit. I’m only 28 years old and I do plan to be here for both my boys for as long as I can.

As I stated on 1/3 this is not my resolution but this is my life goal. So the first thing I did was get the paper work my doctor gave me months ago to follow, and help me learn how to eat healthy I finally got it out of my desk and read it. My main problem I would say is learning how to eat the proper portions. Also when dieting in the past I always used the word diet and I never ate. I was so wrong for doing that because I was making myself more unhealthy.

I’ve joined this nice website called DietBug which is a weight loss program just for women. The main reason I joined is because you can get a little overwhelmed with trying to get fit and sometimes you can start to feel alone. With this site they motivate, educate, and support you. You have the ability to search for your everyday foods to find out the fat, calories, and protein that’s in it. They will even set you up with a daily meal plan with those foods which I find very awesome. Also they give you a list of exercises to do each day that is sure to get your heart pumping and the fat burning.

I can’t afford a gym membership

When I first started exercising I had no idea where to start and then I saw something that said “A gym body without the gym? Big time! Click Here to see how.” I immediately knew that was what I needed to do. I don’t have any money to spend on a whole lot of equipment and I can’t afford a gym membership. So when I found this site that promoted home fitness I was happy. My first thought was “Wow,” not because it’s all souped up or fancy, but because they had very inexpensive equipment. Along with that equipment you can choose to get a DVD and manual to help you along. They have videos on the site to show you how to use each item as well as a separate section for men and women. That is what sold me because a lot of times, through my research, I find that some companies sell everything together. I’m not a man nor do I want to look like one and I feel I shouldn’t work out like one.

So now I bet everyone is wondering if I have lost any weight yet. Ha Ha stay tuned more is yet to come.

This is by far the most outrageous story I’ve ever heard. I was in the kitchen cooking dinner with the television turned on to the news channel. Out of nowhere they announce that a man by the name of Dr. Richard Batista a surgeon at Nassau University Medical Center is demanding his estranged wife return his donated kidney or pay him $1.5 million. Apparently she was cheating on him and of course that didn’t come out until after he gave her his kidney. Per Dr. Batista he didn’t give her his kidney so that she could cheat on him with another man. Wow that’s some serious domestic dispute and after reading the story is starting to become quit funny to me. I mean really this man wants to have his kidney that saved his wife live returned just because things didn’t work out between them. I can understand being upset and hurt because you may still be in love with a person, and hurts to find out that they are no longer in love with you. But don’t you think asking for your kidney back is a little over the top. I mean you loved her enough to save her life by going under the knife your self. I honestly think just asking for the $1.5 million is way more than enough compensation for a kidney. I’m wondering if she doesn’t have the money to pay him and is ordered by the courts to return his kidney would that be attempt of murder? I mean really she needed the kidney in the first place to live giving it back would be suicide. Okay I’m sure they would allow her time to find another donor I hope.

Well Happy New Year everyone it’s now 2009, and I have to get off this holiday weight I’ve gained over the past two months. Okay let me keep it real I need to lose all the baby weight I gained when I had my son. He is now 1 year old but for some reason it’s been harder for me to loose the weight this time around. What’s so strange is that I didn’t gain any weight the entire time I was pregnant but when I had him I gained almost 30 lbs. Yeah I know that is a lot and I really thought It would be easy to drop the weight but it has been a year now and with the holidays passing I’ve gained more weight. Sometimes I get really depressed about it and I start fasting to dry to drop the weight, which is very unhealthy so I start eating again and trying to diet.

Over the past few months that’s all I’ve thought about is getting healthy for me and my children. It just seemed to make more sense for me to start at the begining of the year verses around the holiday season. I consider this a goal and not a New Year resloution, and I figured this would be the perfect time to get everybody in my house hold to start eating healthy. I’m so excited because I know this something that I need to do so that I can be here for my family in the years to come.

Today I started my adventure to a whole new healthier look. I got up before my boys woke up and took a nice brisk walk. Before I knew it 2 hours had past and I wasn’t tired I was feeling great. So why stop I said so kept my beat and kept on walking. Then I got a little bold and started a light jogg and I thoght that was the end of my life. Maybe I’m not quiet ready for the jogg yet I said to myself. Not all in the same day. I need to work up to the jogging part , but don’t worry I will. Eventhough I had a hard time with the light jogging today I still felt really good afterwards and that was 6 hours ago. I have huge burst of energy and I haven’t sat down all day. Even writing this post I keep leaving my computer becasue I don’t want to sit down. My boys are looking at me probably wondering what happened to their mom and to me that’s a great feeling. They are my inspiration and motivation for gettting healthier this New Year. I will keep everyone upated on my journey to a healhier life. Until next time. Happy New Year Everybody!!

It seems like the older I get the more the simple gifts are most precious to me. I feel like the happiest mom on the plantet because my boys remebered my birthday without me reminding them. I know it seems silly but it’s very thoughtful to me. I just wanted to share my great birthday expericence with you and I would love to hear about any special moment or expericence that has happened to you.

I just read this article and my first reaction was anger. Rene-Thierry Magon de la Vilehuchet a 65 year old male who was the co founder of Access International (money manage, company) working out of New York. Investor Vilehuchet put $1.4 billion into the fraud scheme has committed suicide in his New York office on the 22nd floor on Madsison Ave. Now it appears that Vilehuchet is just one of many victims of this hard hit scheme and it has affected thousands of people including the investors that was entrusted with hard earnings and life savings of some many people. Per the report Vilehuchet has been working day and night trying to recoup his clients money with no success. The pressure of his knowing mistake ended his life. He was found with a bottle of sleeping pills and both wrists slashed.

What makes me so angry about this is that Madoff’s lack of honesty for over 70 years has ruined so many lives . His actions have caused so many investors to lose the trust of all their clients and one to lose his life. Madoff was released from jail and is currently under house arrest with all assest frozen. Is that good enough until he is put on trial? I feel he should wait behind the lovely bars we call jail. He is theif and should be treated as such. To me it feels like he purposely robbed thousands of innocent people blind to maintain a lavish lifestyle he didn’t earn or deserve. To read more about this article click the link below.

I was debating over the past few weeks whether to right about the huge $17.4 billion bailout for the auto industry. I also have a mixed feelings about bailing them out. The economic state of America is so screwed right now do we really want to use $17.4 billion to ensure that we still will have a new car made every year? I’ve asked my self that question over and over again, and I’ve come to realize that it wasn’t the fact that they are asking for help. It’s about how many people will lose their jobs if they didn’t received the help. I’m also concerned with how the funds will be managed once the funds are received. It’s no surprise that bad management practices had a hand in the downfall of this industry.

To be honest everyone I wasn’t to sure if the auto world should be bailout. I personally don’t care about having a new car made every year. I’ve never been one that felt like I must have the latest model with all the trimmings. It’s more to like then that. So for a while it didn’t matter to me if Bush had decided not to help. Their is so much going wrong with our economy today it has been very hard for me to be on anyone’s side. My first concern was with thousands of hard working people losing their homes everyday. That can easily be anyone of us and we have no one to help or bail us out. I’m still waiting to hear a solid plan on that. And then that ’s when it changed for me about the bailout for the auto industry. It’s not about the new cars it’s about the thousands of people working to build those cars that I cared about. Making sure they can keep their house, cars, and medical insurance for their families. The only thing that ’s keeping my hope alive with all of this madness with the economy is that our country is still the greatest country in the world. The United States of America. For more on this article view the link below.

SEATTLE, Dec 12, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) — Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro (HBSS) announced it is investigating the investments and perpetrators of the Bernard Madoff Ponzi scheme on behalf of investors. HBSS is investigating the potential for a lawsuit on behalf of investors after news broke the long-standing investor was arrested and allegedly charged with billions of dollars in securities fraud, and their general partner informed the investors that their investments were with Madoff.

When I first heard about this on the new I was in total shock. 50 billion in estimated losses is what was reported. Thousands of people for decades has trusted Madoff to invest their money wisely for their retirement or financial future, and what happened they find out that the company has been a fraud since the beginning. Lately every time you turn on the television or open the daily paper their is something new about wall street being in trouble for mismanagement of funds. It worries me that their has been so much damage to the economy already because of lies and schemes such as this one there will be no more trust left. Can America really start over and rebuild our great country with no trust in wall street?

I have yet to answer my own question because I’m skeptical of everything now. It’s not a good feeling for me to have. Is it just me over reacting or do I have good reasons for feeling this way? I would love to hear your view on this matter. Drop me a line or two and tell me what you think. To read more about this article click the link below.

Keeping a blog up to date with exciting and interesting articles is one of the most important aspects of blogging. This is so important because regular blog visitors expect new postings on a regular basis. Not all visitors expect to see a new post as often as once a day but readers do expect the content on the blog to be updated on a regular basis. In most cases visitors expect new content on your blog at least once a week or you risk losing their interest. However, depending on the topic visitors may expect updates on a basis which is more frequent then usual. Keep in mind casual visitors may not be interested in receiving this type of information more than a few times a year. As blog owners you should be aware of the frequency of which readers expect new posts and should make an effort to oblige all readers with updates as often as possible. This article will discuss methods for keeping a blog up to date including scheduling a regular time to post blogs, using publishing tools wisely and hiring guest bloggers when necessary.

1. Set up a weekly schedule maybe the evenings after work or the weekends when your mind can be completely free of all the current weeks events.

2. Research about writing attentive post for your readers. You don’t want to write something that people don’t want to read

3. Take advantage of publishing tools. Some blog publishing tools allow you to write your post offline and then specify when you want each post to be published. This will come in handy for our busy working blog owners. You can take a look at Windows Live Writer as a great publishing tool.

4. Do an on/off line pole with your readers about what brings them to your blog. Capture the importance of that information and expand what they say.

5. Invite guest bloggers to post on your blog. This can be a worthwhile method for
bloggers who are not only having difficulty keeping their blog up to
date but are also interested in providing readers with a little
variety.

Stay tuned more tips to come in the future.

“We must use time wisely and forever realize that the time is always ripe to do right.” - Nelson Mendela
